Prenuptial and postnuptial agreements also can be addressed by Brenda.

Brenda has served as a court-appointed mediator and guardian ad litem for children and incapacitated adults. She also practices law in the following areas: guardianship/conservatorship, estate planning, probate, termination of parental rights and adoption for both children as well as adults who wish to be adopted.

Brenda received her Associate of Arts and Sciences degree from Bellevue Community College in 1994 in General Studies. In 1997, she graduated with dual degrees from the University of Washington, Seattle, in both Sociology and Speech Communication. Brenda is a founding member of the Collaborative Professionals of Idaho, Inc., advocating for the use of Collaborative Law, mediation and other creative, low conflict approaches to resolving and restructuring families in conflict. Brenda's ideal is to preserve the relationship while acting with integrity, dignity and respect in the process of restructuring the family unit.

Brenda is also one of the very few attorneys licensed in the state of Idaho who successfully handles Special Immigration Juvenile Status cases which merges immigration with family law to give legal access to citizenship to juveniles who cannot return to their or their parents’ country of origin due to risk of further abuse, abandonment or neglect. She serves as an advocate for children in all aspects of her practice and has advocated large amounts of her time pro bono to assist those in need of legal help.

Brenda has been a proud single mother to her son for over 33 years and successfully put herself through school as well as helping her son navigate his way into the Dental Profession. She adores her dog, Barrister, and loves taking him on walks, hikes and other fun adventures to spoil him and enjoys spending time on Idaho's waterways.
